This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs the financial relationship between Deckzi Solutions Private Limited (“the Company,” “SlideEgg,” “We,” or “Us”) and the users of the Website (“User” or “You”). This Policy is incorporated by reference into the SlideEgg Terms of Use.
1. NATURE OF DIGITAL CONTENT
SlideEgg provides digital assets (presentation templates) and computational services (AI Product generation). By purchasing a subscription or credits, You acknowledge and agree that these are non-tangible, irrevocable digital goods. In accordance with international consumer protection standards, the right of withdrawal and the “cooling-off period” are waived the moment a digital download is initiated or an AI request is processed.
2. GENERAL REFUND STANCE
All sales are final. Except as expressly provided in Section 3 of this Policy, the Company does not provide refunds for any subscription fees, one-time payments, or AI credit purchases. This applies to initial purchases, automatic renewals, and the conversion of free trials to paid plans.
3. STRICT REFUND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
As a gesture of goodwill, the Company may authorize a refund only under the following specific, cumulative conditions. Failure to meet any one of these criteria will result in an automatic denial of the refund request:
3.1. Submission Window: The refund request must be submitted via email to admin@slideegg.com within forty-eight (48) hours of the transaction or renewal timestamp.
3.2. Zero Download Rule: The User must have zero (0) premium template downloads recorded on their account logs for the billing period in question.
3.3. AI Credit Integrity: The User must have consumed zero (0) AI credits. Due to the immediate non-recoverable operational costs associated with AI processing, any use of the AI Presentation Maker or associated tools renders the transaction non-refundable.
3.4. Duplicate Transactions: In cases where a technical error results in a User being billed twice for the same subscription, a full refund for the duplicate charge will be processed upon verification.
4. MANDATORY ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING FEE
To cover non-refundable transaction fees charged by payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, or local banks) and the manual labor involved in forensic account auditing, all approved refunds are subject to a 10% Administrative Fee. This fee will be deducted from the total amount returned to the User.
5. CANCELLATION OF SUBSCRIPTIONS
5.1. Self-Service Cancellation: Users may cancel their subscription at any time via the “My Subscription” section of their Account Profile. For security and verification purposes, SlideEgg does not accept cancellation requests via social media, phone, or live chat.
5.2. Renewal Notice: It is the User’s sole responsibility to cancel the subscription before the renewal date. Cancellation must be performed at least twenty-four (24) hours before the next scheduled billing date to ensure the automatic charge is not initiated.
5.3. Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation stops future billing only. The User will maintain access to premium features and remaining AI credits until the expiration date of their current paid billing cycle. No partial or pro-rated refunds are provided for “unused” days within a cycle.
6. 30-DAY FREE TRIAL CONVERSION
Certain plans may offer a 30-day free trial.
6.1. Automatic Conversion: Unless the User cancels the trial before 11:59 PM (GMT) on the 30th day, the trial will automatically convert into a paid monthly or yearly subscription as per the plan selected during signup.
6.2. Non-Refundable Conversion: Charges resulting from a failure to cancel a trial are non-refundable if the account logs show any activity (downloads or AI usage) during or immediately following the trial period.
7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND LICENSE REVOCATION
The User agrees to contact SlideEgg Support directly to resolve any billing discrepancies.
7.1. Revocation for Dispute: In the event of a payment reversal, chargeback, or bank dispute, the Company reserves the right to immediately terminate the User’s account and revoke all licenses previously granted for downloaded content.
7.2. Infringement: Use of SlideEgg templates following a payment reversal constitutes a breach of intellectual property law. The Company reserves the right to seek damages and report such activity to relevant IP protection authorities.
